Current Calls for Submissions

SAN PEDRO RIVER REVIEW
San Pedro River Review is an international journal of poetry and art. They will consider up to three poems or pieces of art. Their theme is 'Work.' Representative poets include Ellen Bass, Naomi Shihab Nye, Afaa Michael Weaver, Marge Piercy, Alex Lemon, Joseph Millar, Reginald Dwayne Betts, Wendy Barker, Doug Anderson, Vivian Shipley, Adrian C. Louis, Keith Ekiss, and WD Ehrhart.

RED WHEELBARROW
Red Wheelbarrow cordially invites you to submit poems, stories, creative non-fiction, or short plays for their spring 2014 “national edition.” You are invited to submit up to five poems; one short story, play, or piece of creative nonfiction (each up to 4,500 words); up to three short-shorts; or one comic strip.

CHANGING HARM TO HARMONY: BULLIES AND BYSTANDERS PROJECT
This will be a book of poems and letters edited by Marin County Poet Laureate Joseph Zaccardi. He is looking for a wide range of interpretations on the theme of bullies and bystanders. Submit up to five pages of poems and letters, one per page. For details email Joseph at joezaccardi@comcast.net.

RATTLE
Rattle publishes unsolicited poetry, translations, and essays. All submissions are automatically considered for the annual Neil Postman Award for Metaphor, a $500 prize judged by the editors.
