Dear Contributors,
In the Fray is looking for someone to write a review of Ai Weiwei:
Never Sorry," a film about the Chinese artist and activist by newcomer
Alison Klayman. The reviewer must be available to attend a screening
in New York City either on the evening of July 11 or 19. The film
opens on July 27, and ideally we'd like to get the review published
sometime before then.
We're also looking for a contributor to review Frances Itani's novel
"Requiem," which deals with Japanese internment in Canada during World
War II. The book was released in Canada last year, but the
U.S.-edition is coming out in the beginning of August.
If interested in either assignment, please contact me at culture@inthefray.org.
Sincerely,
Susan Lee
